If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, please notify the museum in advance via firstname.lastname@example.org or 412.231.3169. All visitors will be required to adhere to social distancing guidelines of at least six feet. To help maintain social distancing, they have placed markers on the floor and redesigned traffic flow to limit interaction. Exhibitions where social distancing cannot be observed will be temporarily closed or re-configured. For this reason, James Turrell’s Pleiades will be temporarily closed. Backpacks are allowed, as are pencils, notebooks and sketchbooks. No groups at this time due to the museum’s limited occupancy.

Signs have been placed on the floors throughout the conservatory to remind you what a six foot distance looks like. They have created a one-way experience through the conservatory for you to minimize interactions with other guests. Please follow the directional signs and leave plenty of room between yourself and the other guests. In order to minimize contact with surfaces, Phipps has temporarily eliminated hands-on play areas and activities. Please refrain from touching surfaces unless absolutely necessary. Please don’t hesitate to use the hand sanitizing stations located throughout the Conservatory. Learn more about advanced timed tickets and safety protocols at https://www.phipps.conservatory.org/tickets.
