In collaboration with the David C. Frederick Honors College, Leadership Development is excited to announce the launch of this prestigious program in Fall 2025! The National Society of Leadership and Success supports students in building and expanding their leadership skills – no matter where they are in their leadership journey. Conducted in a online format, this program helps students explore their leadership abilities, hear from inspiring speakers, and connect to networking opportunities.
The NSLS has over two million members and has established chapters on more than 800 campuses nationwide. They are accredited by Cognia, ACE, and recommended for credit reciprocity with the NCCRS. These organizations have evaluated the NSLS and have determined that their programs exceed their education standards.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 will be invited to participate. (Sophomores and Seniors invited in the fall and First-Year and Junior students will be invited in the spring semester.)
- Participation in the Frederick Honors College is not a requirement.
- A lifetime membership fee is required to join.
More details are included in the membership invitation letters, which are mailed directly to eligible students.
Chapter involvement is completely optional and any student who would like to request financial assistance for joining may do so. The NSLS is an opportunity for students who wish to be involved to diversify their leadership learning and is not required.
