About
Under the leadership of Vice Provost for Student Affairs Kenyon Robert Bonner, EdD, we in the Division of Student Affairs strive to provide our students with the best collegiate experience in the world.
We complement Pitt’s academic excellence by cultivating a campus environment that is vibrant, challenging, nurturing, and inclusive. It is our hope that the support we provide will help you fully engage in our campus community and position yourself for future success. By providing diverse learning experiences, social opportunities, and important services designed to prepare students to be successful in our global community, we hope to contribute greatly to your collegiate experience.
Programming
Our robust programming efforts contribute to the development of the whole student. For example, New Student Programs assists first-year students in acclimating to campus by connecting students and their families to each other and the University. Additionally, our Office of Residence Life provides countless social and educational opportunities to students living on campus.
Our programming is wide-ranging, extensive, and aims to instill qualities in our students that will help them to realize their best selves: an appreciation of the arts, a lifelong commitment to service, and a dedication to holistic health.
Services
We also provide students with high-quality support services that are crucial to each student’s success and well-being through the Healthy U Program and Wellness Center (comprised of the Student Health Service and the University Counseling Center). The Career Center [link] also provides critical support for Pitt students before they arrive and throughout their college careers. We also oversee the University Student Conduct process.
