"I plan to pursue an MD with the goal of becoming a physician-engineer who develops and applies innovative solutions across clinical settings. During my gap year, I will work as a Clinical Research Assistant in the Pediatric Spine Department at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, continuing to build experience at the intersection of patient care and translational research."
