Future Plans:
"After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Master of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at Pitt. Through this program, I hope to deepen my understanding of how social environments, community resources, and behavioral factors influence health outcomes. Following completion of my MPH, I plan to attend Physician Assistant professional school with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant specializing in pediatric emergency medicine. Pediatric emergency medicine is meaningful to me because it combines critical medical care with the ability to support children and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. By combining training in public health with clinical medicine, I hope to approach healthcare from both preventative and treatment-focused perspectives. This dual perspective will allow me to better advocate for preventative strategies and community-based solutions that improve long-term health outcomes. Ultimately, my goal is to build a career centered on service, collaboration, and community impact. Whether through patient care, public health initiatives, or mentorship, I hope to contribute to healthcare systems that are more equitable, accessible, and responsive to the needs of children and families."
