Evan Ditty has served as the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life since September 2025. In his role, Evan leads the Fraternity & Sorority Life team in fostering a developmental and vibrant experience for Pitt's fraternity and sorority community. He leads the department's assessment and policy efforts, liaisons with University partners in organization accountability, and provides leadership to the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the fraternity and sorority community.
Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh, Evan held roles in student engagement and fraternity and sorority life at Seton Hill University, Penn State New Kensington, Penn State University, and Murray State University. He has volunteered as a program facilitator and reviewer for numerous fraternities and sororities, colleges and universities, and the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA). Evan has presented on topics related to fostering inclusive student organization engagement, budgeting, and fraternity and sorority life for the National Association for Campus Activities, Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, and regionally for the Association of Student Conduct Administration.
Evan earned a BA in history at Thiel College and an MA in counseling with a focus in college student populations at Edinboro University of PA (now Pennsylvania West University - Edinboro). He is a member of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors and Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
