Captain Brandon R. Pecsi is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 730 based at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As Recruiting and Education Officer, Capt. Grace is responsible for the four-year officer education and training for AFROTC cadets from the University of Pittsburgh and 15 crosstown universities in the greater Pittsburgh area. He is a Force Support Officer
Captain Pecsi enlisted in the Air Force in April 2013 and commissioned through the Air Force Officer Training School in 2020 from his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio as a distinguished graduate. He graduated from Security Forces Apprentice course at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in September 2013 as a distinguished graduate and Force Support Office Course at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. His background includes various duties within Security Forces and Force Support. He has served numerous roles including Response Team Leader, Base Defense Operation Center Controller, Security Forces Training Instructor, Commander Support Staff Section Commander, and Military Personnel Flight Commander.
Prior to his current position, the Captain was the Executive Officer, Headquarters 2d Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. He was deployed in support of operations FREEDOM SENTINEL and INHERENT RESOLVE.
