Anna MacKinnon

Associate Director of Off-Campus Experience

As Associate Director of Off-Campus Experience, Anna has led the development of the new Off-Campus Student Services office since 2023, helping students better understand their rights as renters and ensuring students living off-campus remain engaged with the university. Prior to this role, she worked in Pitt's Office of Engagement and Community Affairs, focusing on Oakland neighborhood relations and creating the Oakland Community Ambassador program; an undergraduate student group focused on community engagement.

Anna is an active member of NASPA's Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Knowledge Community, as well as the International Town Gown Association's Student Engagement Committee.

Anna received her Master's of Public Health from Pitt, focusing on health equity and access, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Genetics and Spanish from Rutgers University. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, spending time with her cat, and line dancing.
