Transfer Student Programs

Transfer Student Programs

Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh! As a transfer student, you are among the estimated 4,000 Pitt undergraduate students that have transferred to Pitt. We realize there are many different factors leading to your decision to transfer and we are ready to meet your needs as you prepare for this transition.

We want you to have the best transition to campus. We know the more connected and involved you are at Pitt will directly relate to your success. Throughout the fall and spring semester the First Year Mentors and the Office of New Student Programs will plan and promote events and opportunities for transfer students to get involved and experience campus. Stay connected to us by joining our Facebook groups and checking your Pitt email for our regular updates.

At the same time, you can find information about transferring credits, housing, upcoming events, and Pitt Tool Kit on our website.
