A Message from the Dean Regarding Religious Observances and Social Justice Accommodations

Consistent with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, the University has a tradition of recognizing the religious observances of members of our community. At the beginning of the academic year, the Provost advised faculty that students shall not be penalized for absences resulting from a religious observance that conflicts with a University activity. If you have a conflict, please contact your instructors as soon as possible to allow for adequate accommodation and to reach mutually agreeable arrangements.
