Donovan Allen is a junior in the Frederick Honors College pursuing a double major in English Literature and Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Chinese. During his time at Pitt, Donovan has distinguished himself in the classroom and beyond. He has received three fellowships for his research in African-American literature: the Brackenridge Fellowship, the Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Fellowship, and the Creative Arts Fellowship. Outside the classroom, he serves as the Programming Chair for the DEI Committee of Student Government Board, the Assistant Editor-in-Chief for Forbes and Fifth, and an Associate Editor for the Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review. During the summers, he works as an undergraduate researcher in cancer immunology.
