Collegiate Panhellenic Association
Collegiate Panhellenic Association (Panhel) is the governing body for the National Panhellenic Conference sororities and associative members at the University of Pittsburgh. For the spring 2021 semester, Panhel meetings are 01/20, 02/03, 02/17, 03/03, 03/17, 03/31, 04/07 and 04/21. If you would like to be on the agenda please contact Panhellenic President. Spring Recruitment: Spring Panhellenic Recruitment Formal Recruitment is a two-weekend series of events. This mutual selection format is an opportunity for students to meet sorority members, ask questions, and define financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. Participation in this particular recruitment format is limited to the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) member organizations of our Council.
Given COVID-19, Panhellenic Formal Recruitment will be conducted in a virtual format. Please register for recruitment early, so you can receive regular updates. Registration takes about 20-30 minutes, we recommend completing it on a laptop or desktop computer. Due to virtual format, all interested students or potential new members (PNMs) who register for spring formal recruitment must submit a less than one minute video of themselves. Here are instructions for filming your video and a sample PNM video. To access formal recruitment, you will need to use a Pitt Zoom account. It would be helpful if you could participate in Panhellenic Formal Recruitment with a stable internet connection and on a laptop/desktop. Please connect with lexie.elliott@pitt.edu if you have any concerns. There is $5 recruitment registration fee that can be paid at with a credit card (please see the button below), Panther Central with PantherFunds by emailing panthercentral@pitt.edu, or by mailing a check made out to the University of Pittsburgh and mailed to Collegiate Panhellenic Association, WPU 617, 3959 Fifth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15260.
