Parent and Family Resources

Welcome to the Office of Parent and Family Resources – we are so excited to have you as part of our Pitt family!

Family Weekend 2022, September 23-25

Family Weekend registration is closed as we had a larger than anticipated level of interest. We want all families to be able to enjoy their campus visit but we have to keep safety and building capacities as a priority when providing programming. Families are always welcome on campus and do not need to register for Family Weekend to visit their student. Family Weekend registration provides a welcome bag, and access to a reception, social event, and farewell grab and go brunch.

Football tickets to the Pitt vs. University of Rhode Island game are still available. Football tickets can still be purchased here.

For additional information visit the Family Weekend page.

The Office of Parent and Family Resources serves as the primary point of contact for families of Pitt undergraduate students. We are committed to creating engaging partnership with parents, families, and support systems for students to enhance their collegiate experience.

The Office of Parent and Family Resources recognizes and honors multi-dimensional families and embraces that family structures can be of origin and/or of choice. We serve all families, parents, guardians, support systems, mentors, and other supporters in the lives of our Pitt students.

The Office of Parent and Families Resources will create a comprehensive parent and family program to educate, communicate, and engage parents and families to become informed and active partners in the academic, personal, and social success of Pitt undergraduate students.
