Panther Connect provides the opportunity for you to meet other first-year students and learn about campus resources that will make your first semester at Pitt smooth and successful! Participants will engage with Student Life staff, explore common transition topics, and participate in fun and dynamic activities. This is also an opportunity to develop close friendships and meaningful skills to thrive in the first year of college. This is also your opportunity to connect with the New Student Ambassadors and gain insights from upper-class student leaders about their Pitt experience.
Each Panther Connect follows a similar schedule and activities, so every student will get the most out of their experience regardless of when they attend.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
All Students attending the Panther Connect program are required to be in compliance with the University’s guidelines on COVID-19 vaccines. Effective December 6, 2021, the University of Pittsburgh requires all Pitt affiliates on all campuses to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. To upload your vaccination status visit the My Pitt homepage and select Submit Proof of Vaccination under the Student, Staff, and Faculty Resource section. Participants will need their University of Pittsburgh login credentials to access our vaccination upload system.
