UCC’s Statement on U.S. Capitol Events

1/7/2021
In light of recent events that took place at the U.S. Capitol, Pitt’s University Counseling Center (UCC) would like to extend our empathy, support, and commitment to those affected. We echo the Chancellor’s statement in that the attack on our democracy and the lack of response have had a reverberating effect on our hearts and minds, fueling feelings of anger, disgust, and sadness.

The UCC understands the impact of these traumatic events on the well-being of our community. We are here to support you through this difficult time. To speak to a clinician at any time, please contact us at 412.648.7930. Please also review online resources available to students.
