Pitt Grit

Pitt Grit

“Grit is living life like it’s a marathon, not a sprint.”

-Angela Lee Duckworth, Grit: The power of passion and perseverance

What is PITT GRIT?

Studies show that grit is the major predictor of success. PITT GRIT was launched in Fall 2019 to help students find their grit through storytelling, education and outreach services.

At one point or another, we will all face challenges, obstacles and failure. Below is a collection of stories from people in our community about overcoming and persevering in the face of adversity.
