Group Fitness

 

To ensure the health and safety of our campus community, group fitness offerings are modified for the fall term. We are pleased to be able to offer a variety of in-person and virtual options that will allow you to maintain your personal fitness. Please read the information below to learn about class formats, course descriptions, schedules, and the registration process.

 

Please also take notice that daily reservations will be required for access to all Group Fitness classes during the fall term. Book a time slot in a Group Fitness class.


GROUP FITNESS

Becoming a healthier you involves adopting healthy habits. This includes incorporating physical activity into daily life. To help students reach this goal, a selection of non-credit Group Fitness classes are offered during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
 

Campus Recreation Group Fitness classes are available to University of Pittsburgh undergraduate and graduate students only. These classes are for recreation only – PEDC course are available for academic credit through the University of Pittsburgh School of Education. Campus Recreation Group Fitness classes can count toward credit for the Outside the Classroom Curriculum (OCC) program.

 

For the fall term, Group Fitness classes are FREE, and will follow a drop-in format with registration required for each individual class. Read class descriptions, view class schedules, or register for a class.
