Panther Parents Association
The PPA is a collaborative initiative between parents of current Pitt students and the University designed to: keep parents informed about available resources, provide opportunities to meet and interact with other Pitt parents, and promote and support University programs.
As the parent or guardian of a Pitt student, you are automatically a member of the Panther Parents Association (PPA)! The PPA is a collaborative initiative between parents of current Pitt students and the University designed to: keep parents informed and educated about parent and student resources that are available at Pitt.
Members of the PPA will receive an electronic newsletter via e-mail twice each semester with information about resources and events on campus to help your students, as well as tips on how to support your student in the best possible way. PPA members also receive a Parent and Family Handbook and have a direct line to the Office of Parent and Family Resources via firstname.lastname@example.org and 412-624-8548. An archived website of recent webinars on topics such as financial aid and career services are available from a link at this website. The University of Pittsburgh strives to support all parents of current students, as well as offering opportunities for parents to become more involved in our Pitt family.
