The University's standard shuttle system is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. Disability Resources and Services has in operation a shuttle that is designed to complement the University's standard shuttle system. The Disability shuttle operates when classes are in session and may be used only by individuals with disabilities or temporary injuries for the sole purpose of transportation to/from academic requirements.
To schedule Disability Shuttle rides, click here. Shuttle rides are scheduled Monday through Friday, with rides starting at 7:00 a.m. and running as late as 8:30 p.m.
*Please note that the University operates a comprehensive shuttle system that services the main campus as well as both South and North Oakland. Detailed shuttle routes and time-tables can be found on the Office of Parking and Transportation website. All shuttles are handicap accessible.
For individuals requesting rides for non-academic reasons (personal appointments, doctors appointments, etc.) please consult the University of Pittsburgh Office of Parking and Transportation to investigate the regular University shuttle system as well as other alternative methods of transportation.
