Judicial Process

Upon receipt of a properly filed judicial referral, the Student Conduct Officer shall notify the accused student by email that proceedings have been instituted and shall inform the accused student whether the incident is a Level l or Level ll hearing. The letter will direct the student to schedule a Preliminary Conference with the Student Conduct Officer, an Administrative Hearing Officer or their designee, within a specified amount of time. Failure to comply with this directive may result in the scheduling of a judicial hearing. A judicial hold may be placed on the student’s account and academic record until the referral has been adjudicated.
