Important Updates for Student Organizations

9/10/14
Please reference the Guidelines for Hosting Student Organization Events with Minors when starting to plan such events that include any interaction with minors.

9/9/14
Effective September 9, 2014, all new and recertifying student organizations must include an updatd constitution with their online Certification Application, based on the most up-to-date constitution requirements.  Please reference Constitution Requirements for assistance.

7/1/14
The Office of Student Life has revised its Guidelines for Student Organization Contracts.

Effective July 1, 2014, all Live Performance Contracts exceeding $5,000 must be accompanied by a brief artist bio and brief description of the student organization’s plan to promote the event to gather a substantial audience. The new requirement is intended to improve student organization planning and minimize requests for additional information which can delay the contract approval process.
